College Essay Assistance

It’s an honor to help teens develop their unique and personal story for college essays. The process is nothing short of magical. Here’s how it works:
During a consultation, Alice talks with the student to help determine the best topic. An experienced interviewer, she knows what questions to ask to draw her subjects out. After this initial conversation, she provides a detailed overview. Then, after the student writes a first draft, assistance is provided with the revision process. A seasoned writer and editor, Alice gives suggestions to create a compelling and dynamic essay.
While guidance is provided throughout the process, students write their own essays. In addition, Alice treats all interactions as confidential, strictly between her and the student. As essay topics can be highly personal, this trust must be established in order to create a safe space for the student to share his or her experiences. Alice views working with high school students a privilege, and she recognizes the delicate nature of this advisory role.
Successful applications include Georgia Tech, University of Virginia, Rutgers Honors College, Pitt Honors College, Penn State, University of Maryland, George Washington, Northeastern Honors College, College of Charleston, The College of New Jersey, High Point, Manhattan College, Drexel, Temple, JMU, Smith, Bates, Whitman, University of Puget Sound, Hamilton, UVM, Fordham, Loyola, Colorado College and University of Miami.
